Amanda was born on June 26, 1991, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Along with her sister Samantha Cerny, she moved around a lot as a child.
By the age of 8, her family had lived in 5 different states. The family later settled in Florida for the remainder of her childhood & teenage years.
At the age of 11, she achieved black belt status in karate, & then focused her sporting efforts towards the track team in high school.
